| As is always the case with me, the beginning of the spring semester was the busiest and most tiring. I took a day off to have a MONDAY brunch in Inoda Coffee at Sakaimachi-Sanjo. (http://www.inoda-coffee.co.jp) It was a high season of tourism in Kyoto and Inoda Coffee is one of the popular spots. Still, I was amazed to see people making a queue for branch even on Monday. I thought it was only me who came up with such an idea. Kyoto...amazing. What happened? I gave it up, killed some time and went to "Sanjo branch." |

| Shijo-Karasuma is the business centre in Kyoto. UFJ (top left) and SMBC (right). There is MTFG in front of SMBC but it was under construction. UFJ is to be sold after the merger with MTFG. Mizuho Bank (bottom left) has a beautiful Kyoto branch near at Karasuma-Sanjo. Kyoto has many beautiful modern architecture. (Mizuho's photo was taken on 7 June.) |
